Command to find the mail that we have sent is completed or not (Unix/Linux server)

There are many commands which can be used to check exims different options, but today I would like to share this command, as it greatly help in checking the delivery/sent status of email sent from ones email address.

# exigrep xxxxxxxxxxxx /var/log/exim_mainlog|grep -i “Completed”
(xxxxxxxxxxxx is message ID)

Count mails for a sender:
exiqgrep -cf $user-name


A quick and useful command for checking if a server is under ddos:
# netstat -anp |grep ‘tcp\|udp’ | awk ‘{print $5}’ | cut -d: -f1 | sort | uniq -c | sort -n
# netstat -n | grep :80 |wc -l
# netstat -n | grep :80 | grep SYN |wc -l
